Brush Wash Basins

Watching a YouTube video from Doctor Faust I was inspired to design and build these wash basins for cleaning my paint brushes. The basin on the right and the top are the first design and the basin on the left is the improved. After trying the first design I discovered 2 things, 1 I needed to raise the joint to allow a higher water level and 2 it leaked. It was easy to adjust the joint to be higher. I found coating the inside with polyurethane solved the problem of leaking. Since PLA plastic is water soluble I will probably coat the outside of the basins and tops with polyurethane as well.

assembled they are just under 4" outside diameter and approximately 5" tall with a 1 1/4" diameter opening.
