After searching for a proper mount for the Ender 3 Pro for the Big Tree Tech filament sensor, and being very disappointed with printing out items, only to find they do not work, i decided to make my own. This is based on the BTT backplate, supplied on their github page.
I then added a support to allow it to be screwed onto the z axis rod support area. BUT, unlike a couple of others i tried, this one is not too high and not too close to the extruder to make it impossible to get the filament into the extruder. I've lowered the mount to put it more in line with the extruder, and moved it further away from the extruder, to allow you to get your fingers in there if you need to. On my print, the holes lined up perfectly with the BTT sensor, so no issues screwing it in with the original backplate screws. This of course replaces the original backface.
BTT instructions say to put this after the extruder, and before the bowden tube, which makes no sense at all. If the filament runs out,
