the buckzunder is a small crush explosive fuse. The outer aluminum shell would contain a small glass vial filled with acid and the remaining space filled with flash powder. When a certain amount of weight crushed the fuse, the glass would break and the acid would react to the powder, detonating the detonator and explosives.
This would typically be used with the glass mine and/or S.150 mine, but its universal base made it compatible with any explosive or booby trap.
