Budget Gunpla/Model Kit Stand

This stand uses a 3D printed base and about 4 inches of 9ga (3mm) aluminum wire. 50 feet of 9ga wire costs about $10, so total material costs per stand should be around 50 cents. Should work for any kit with a 3mm hole for a stand.

The aluminum is flexible enough to allow posing at different angles but stiff enough to easily support a model kit. Different wire lengths can be used for different heights. May require light sanding on the end inserted into the model.
