Bullroarer

Fun thing to play with or make with the kids. Crocodile Dundee phone call.
You will need a length of string to finish this. I use about 8-10 feet of 100lb braided fishing line. Run one end of the line through the hole in the bullroarer and tie it to the other end of the line. Now it is doubled up making a loop and about 4-5feet long. Hold the string and spin the bull roar causing the string to wind several times. With the bullroarer spun up you start to swing it in a circle over your head. It should start buzzing as it spins and winds/unwinds over and over. If it is not already spun enough times to make sound it should start winding as you spin it around and then begin buzzing. Give it a try for several spins and you should figure it out quickly.
Can very the scale and infill to change weight and size to produce different tones, Different strings also make a difference.
