The wind spinner is a tribute to the "Save the bees" campaign. The golden appearance of the bee is deliberately chosen because most people are afraid of bees (and subspecies). If a bee stings, it usually does so for one reason: defence. The bee's aim is either to protect its own life or that of its colony. With this project, I would like to emphasise the importance of bees for us humans and showcase their beauty. The next step is to assemble the model. The wings are glued to the receiver. Please make sure that all the wings point in the same direction to ensure secure attachment. Four small parts have been printed to hold everything together, which can also be fastened with a 4 mm screw. The rod must be glued into the end piece. The end piece/rod is then passed through the bumblebee, then over the intermediate piece (distance between bumblebee and rotor blades) and through the rotor blades. The other end piece is again attached to the rod (gluing). The model is designed to rotate even in light winds. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
