Bungee Attachment Clip

Hi all! I occasionally carry large objects in my trunk, large enough that I have to use a bungee cord to hold the trunk lid down. I hesitate to use the bungee cord that has a metal S hook where it contacts the painted surface of the lid, as it might scratch the paint, so I designed this clip. It is very strong, and holds the metal “S” away from the paint. I attach the clip to the front edge of the trunk lid and the other end of the bungee to the lid closure mechanism or to the car frame under the license plate. Hope that you enjoy it.
