After witnessing a bungee hook accident, I set out to create a safer alternative to traditional hook-to-hook connections. When my wife needed a reliable way to secure new banners to her event canopy, this solution was born. Designed to link bungee cords securely without overstretching them, this connector reduces snap-back risk while maintaining strong, even tension. It’s a simple, effective upgrade for anyone who values safety, durability, and peace of mind when setting up banners or displays. Printed in PETG-CF (overkill? Maybe!)Nozzle: .4mm Layer Height: .20 mm (strength style setting)6 walls5 walls top and bottom shell layers25% Gyroid infill I do suggest using supports. The .3mf was saved with:Support type: Organic Tree SupportsSupport placement: On build plate onlyTop Z distance: 0.28 mmTop interface layers: 4Support/Object XY distance: 0.45 mmThese settings provide adequate support while allowing the supports to remove cleanly with minimal post-processing.
