The Burraco Box

This project was born from a real need… and a special request: my wife, a passionate Burraco player, wanted an elegant and practical box that could hold not only the cards but everything needed for the perfect game.The result is a 3D printed card box, designed with millimetric precision. Inside, alongside the compartment for the decks, I created a dedicated tray for the scorepad and a slot for the pencil, so everything is neatly stored and ready to use.Every detail was crafted to combine practicality and design: from the ergonomic shapes to the secure closure, from the organized compartments to the strength of the material. It’s not just a container—it’s an object that tells a story: a story of a game, of shared moments, and of creativity that only 3D printing can turn into reality.A print that is not only technical, but also a gesture of love and a tribute to togetherness..___Questo progetto nasce da un’esigenza reale… e da una richiesta speciale: quella di mia moglie, appassionata di Burraco. Voleva una scatola elegante e pratica, capace di contenere non solo le carte, ma anche tutto ciò che serve per una partita perfetta.Il risultato è una scatola porta carte realizzata interamente in stampa 3D, progettata con cura millimetrica. All’interno, oltre allo scomparto per i mazzi, ho creato un ripiano dedicato al taccuino segnapunti e un alloggiamento per la matita, così che tutto sia a portata di mano e pronto all’uso.Ogni dettaglio è stato pensato per unire praticità e design: dalle forme ergonomiche alla chiusura sicura, dai vani organizzati alla resistenza del materiale. Non è solo un contenitore, ma un oggetto che racconta una storia: quella di un gioco, di momenti condivisi e della creatività che solo la stampa 3D può trasformare in realtà.Una stampa che non è solo tecnica, ma anche un gesto d’amore e un tributo alla convivialità.
