3D Printed Butterfly Mobile Overview This project is easy to print, but requires extensive post-processing for best results. Please read all instructions thoroughly before beginning to ensure success. --- Tools & Materials Needed Heat gun Glue (Super glue recommended) String (Fishing line preferred for strength) --- Included Plates 1. Plate 1: Butterfly + Balancing peg 2. Plate 2: Hanger base 3. Plate 3: Hanger top 4. Plate 4: Wing shaping tool ---1. Printing the Butterfly (Plate 1) Prints flat – No supports needed. Designed for minimal color changes. In Bambu Studio: Use the paint tool to color the body and wing spots. Recommended: Use “fill” mode to reduce filament flushing. Average: ~10 filament changes; ~2–4g flushed per butterfly. Tip:Duplicate the butterfly in your slicer to print multiples at once, minimizing waste. --- 2.
