Button Spinner

The retro old fashioned precursor to the Fidget Spinner.

Thread the big button onto a loop of string, them run the loop end through and then over the ring to attach. Grasp one ring in each hand, spin the button between until it tightens, then slowly pull out and in to spin the button.

You can just use the super button, but I add the rings for easy handling by kids.

Warning: If you have long hair, keep it away from the string, as the tangles can be massive!

Added a "noisy" version. While spinning the bumpy edge can be touched to a piece of paper or another safe surface to make a loud noise.
