A simple test stand to hold 4 12mm buttons with a base large enough to hold an Arduino Nano & small breadboard.
There are two options, one that holds the button & the other allows you to slip a pre-wired button in so they can be tested in situ
They are designed to hold this button - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08JCG82KT/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=underthesmall-21&linkId=35b2c26248e80f3dbed96a090f39aa31&language=en_GB but any 12mm button will fit
I've included the sketchup file so you can modify it for your own sized buttons
Added a breadboard that can be used in association with the buttons that then can be connected to an Arduino or a shift register (and then onto the Arduino).
You can replace the 74HC165 with a 74HC595 to work in reverse & have a nice light show.
**UPDATE**: The slot (1mm instead of 3mm) in older versions was too small for the wires to pass through so please download this one
