A model of C3PO's head antenna, based on one that came with my head, and from pictures online. Useful as a replacement, or as a greeblie on your own costume. Modeled in 123D Design.
I have printed it both standing up and laying down, and both have their issues. When vertical, the print has a weak point along the main shaft, and it can snap pretty easily (as shown in the pictures). When laying down, the print might be a little rough on the bottom edge. I think with some tweaking of the print settings, this can be minimized. Overall, I prefer the laying down version, because the rough spot can be oriented against the rest of the head, and mostly hidden.
