Update 1-11-20: One of my female pieces broke, so I made a new male piece "Male 2" that is slightly smaller. This will hopefully put less strain on the female pieces.
Update 3-18-20: Added new female piece design "Female 2". This works better than the original so far.
Update 4-5-20: Added a new male and female piece "Male 3" and "Female 3". The "Female 2" bends after a little use. These new versions will hopefully work better.
Original text: I needed a few replacement cabinet catches for the house and boat. And after several failed designs, I came up with this! It holds doors securely and is simple to print. I used PLA.
I printed these on their sides with no support. I used a brim and with layers of .1mm. No post sanding was necessary for me.
The pic with the white powder: Use flour or baking soda to mark exactly where the 'male' piece should be mouned after you have installed the 'female' piece - the one with two prongs. Be careful to install the female piece at the cor
