Cable Protector for automatic Lawn Mower

To protect my repaired auto lawn mower cable against humidity, dust, ants and corrosion, I designed this joint. The available solutions (shrinking tube, grease clamp) did not convince me.

It is designed for a cable with 2.7mm diameter, which is used for the most common lawn mowers.

The threads for the screws are printed and designed for M3x12 (countersunk head). Rember that the thread is no metal, so do not screw it too tightly.

How to use:

(1) solder the cables
(2) fill both parts with glue (I used 2K glue, which needs 5min to get hard)
(3) put the cable into the first part
(4) apply the second part
(5) fix screws (Type: M3x12, countersunk head)
(6) wait 5 minutes
(7) use it
