Design ConceptThis 3D - printed cactus - shaped organizer merges practicality with a charming, whimsical design. Mimicking a cactus form, its “arms” serve as handy hooks for holding small accessories like headphones and smartwatches. The added colorful flowers and the base tray introduce a playful, decorative touch while offering a neat storage solution for tiny items, turning a functional piece into a desk - brightening decor.Print SettingsPrinted using a K2 Plus printer. Opt for a 0.2mm layer height to capture the cactus texture and flower details without excessive print time. Set 2 walls to ensure the structure is sturdy enough to hold hanging items. Use a 15% infill to keep the model lightweight yet durable. PLA material is ideal for its ease of printing and ability to retain the vibrant green and colorful flower hues. Supports are needed for the curved “arms” and flower parts; use 10% density supports at a 60° angle for easy removal. A brim can be applied to enhance bed adhesion and prevent warping. Total print time for all components (cactus body, base, flowers) is approximately 4 - 6 hours, varying slightly by part complexity.AssemblyIf printed as separate pieces (cactus main body, base, flowers), first attach the cactus to the base with a small amount of PLA - compatible adhesive. Then, gently press the flower pieces into their respective slots on the cactus (design can include pre - made indentations for easy insertion). Once assembled, it’s ready for use – hang accessories on the arms and place small items like earbuds on the base tray.
