Cake & Pie Server

I custom designed this for my wife's cake business. She provides one of these servers to repeat customers. This server is designed for the standard sized 8" cakes. (It will work with smaller and even larger with care). This handy lifer makes a great gift to anyone needing to cleanly and easily divide up a cake or pie. The lifter features a serrated edge used for cutting through the cake or pie. The lifter portion is just the right depth of about 4" allowing one to slide it under the sliced piece and fully support even the most delicate of cakes. At the back of the lifter before the handle, is a vertical semi wall which will prevent the cake from tipping backwards when lifting the pieces. The shape of the lifter represents a 30 degree angle, which means if you use its as a gauge to measure and slice, you will get an even 12 pieces of pie or cake from a standard 8" whole cake or pie.
