Calamity Box

An unsuspecting absolutely harmless music box! Nothing bad has ever come from those before....

My take on the Calamity Box from Amphibia. Surprisingly, the box changes a bit from shot to shot within the show itself, notably the spiky bits on the lid and the position of the gems. I made it a bit of a combination of all of these variations. I also scaled it to fit in my lap, as it does in Anne's in the intro, so it may be a bit large (the lid and the box itself barely fit on the bed of a CR-10). I cut slots to fit some random hinges I had, sized 2-1/2in x 1-9/16in. You don't have to get them from Home Depot, that's just where I got them. I didn't make holes for the screws, just glued the hinges in place since its a prop. Planning on posing more pics once I've done painting it.
