A 3D-printed Calgary Flames jibbit is a small decorative charm designed to fit into Crocs. It is created using a 3D printer and printed with PLA (polylactic acid), a common and eco-friendly plastic made from renewable resources like corn starch. PLA is popular because it is easy to print, durable enough for small accessories, and produces smooth, detailed designs like logos and text.

During the printing process, supports are used to hold up parts of the jibbit that extend outward or have overhangs, such as raised details in the Flames logo. These supports prevent the material from sagging while it prints. Once the print is finished, the supports are carefully removed, leaving a clean final shape. Using supports and PLA together helps ensure the jibbit is accurate, sturdy, and visually appealing.
