**Test object for tuning slicer settings.**
After upgrading my Ender 3 to direct drive I decided to upgrade the firmware and enable Linear Advance and tune the slicer settings. After printing a half dozen XYZ calibration cubes I decided I needed a better test object. This is the result.
It has curves, corners, short lines, long lines, ringing tests, stringing test, bridging and even a small overhang. The longer runs make it easier to observe speed and acceleration settings.
Print, check quality and time taken, compare, adjust settings. Rinse and repeat.
* I recommend you preheat your nozzle and bed before each printing to make comparing the times more accurate.
* I used 2 bottom layers, 3 top layers, 2 walls and 5% infill (I use Gyroid). No supports. These settings will make printing relatively fast but still give a good surface.
