Caliper Blade Extensions

Design Concept:This 3D printed caliper blade extension is designed for measuring large objects with precision using digital or dialcalipers. Its elongated design ensures accuracy while being lightweight. I designed these to fit my particular brand of caliper, so.....Use:Ideal for craftspeople and engineers who require measurements of larger parts or items, this extension enhances the reach of standard calipers without compromising accuracy.Printing Suggestions:Print in an orientation that maximizes strength along the length of the extensions. Use a higher infill density for durability, and consider using a slightly flexible material to reduce risk of breakage. I used clear transparent filament for this project, as it allowed me to see the fit between the caliper and the extensions.Assembly Instructions:Simply slide the extensions onto the caliper blades, ensuring a snug fit, and noting that the shorter extension fits the mobile jaw, and of course, the longer is for the stationary jaw. Adjust as necessary to maintain a flush alignment with the existing caliper structure during measurements.There is a round "nub" that the back-side of the blades engage, forcing the extensions flat to their respective faces."Problems really don't exist... because solutions do."(CCS Interpretations)Think about that, and have an awesome rest of your day!
