Candle Molds

It started with design for a fuse holder - bottom and top - for a poly carbonate tube.

Then I thought I could design walls with a different finish.

...and then make bigger ones...

After printing you'll need to do some sanding and trimming, because I purposely designed the parts to have a tight fit.

Very important things I've learned:
- Do not overheat the candle wax, it will soften your printed mold and not hold the wax any longer...
- Pour the layers in gradually, about 1-2 cm at a time, and let the wax solidify before pouring a new one
- Can you see how the former two things are related? :-)
