Cannon swivel downrigger base conversion

Notice: I made this for this specific build: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7380119. It didn't even occur to me when I posted it that someone would use it for its actual purpose, stupid of me. To use it as a downrigger base it will need an adapter on the bottom to raise it up about 1/8 inch. I'm going to work on that and post it soon. My apologies, seriously.


Made these conversion components for an aftermarket Cannon downrigger pivot base to eliminate most of the play it has and to replace the spring loaded pin with a quick release pin.
--Dismantle the base by removing the two Phillips head screws from the back and then unscrew and remove the pin from the side.
--Assemble in the order shown.
Quick release pin is 1/4" x 1 .5 "to 2"
