Started from the model (Canon EOS M grip Arca Swiss battery door) by 'sqwitt'.
I created my perfect walkaround grip for the EOS M as I found it very hard to hold the camera as is. The existing grip models helped, but were quite sharp, a bit too loose and wobbly to my liking, and still a bit too small.
Changes:
- Removed the Arca Swiss plate base as I don't need it and is uncomfortable.
- Increased and reshaped the grip inspired by a 5D shape and size. Works well for larger hands now.
- Added a slot for the existing right camera strap lug to slide in to. This keeps the grip very tight to the body and makes it feel one with the camera. This slot is very tight and may not fit as is depending on your printer. To fix, slightly heat the slot with a lighter and force the camera in when soft.
- Also added a M3 screw hole to fit a counter sunk screw in to that can replace the existing strap lug.
- Slightly repositioned the bottom screw hole and made narrower.
- Beveled all edges.
