Canon MX885 Printer Cover Open Close Mod Insert

Hello Thingiverse Community,

This is a quick design for all-in-one Canon MX885 printers with external ink tank mod. Since I can't close my scanner/cover, the printer will not start printing. I've used a piece of cardboard for years to trick the cover closed switch but since I have a 3D printer now, what to do but design and print something.

Since this is quite a small print, adding extra detail isn't necessary and will just reduce the quality of the print. The final print is a little hairy/frizzy (I’m not sure the term we use here for 3D printing). But it's negligible and fit for use.

This is designed to be a little flexible so it can be inserted and removed by applying a little pressure. It should click into place and be quite easy to remove. The clip/mod should be tall enough so average sized fingers can grasp it.
