"Microtechnologies" designs and manufactures pressure, vacuum and differential pressure switches and sensors for their partner "Micro Pneumatic Logic" (MPL). MPL 9391 is a low pressure variable output sensor designed and manufactured by Microtechnologies. As this product has already been supplied in the market, so improvising the design will be cost efficient and easy for production. And The core manufacturing technology of microtechnologies can be used for the manufacturing. I studied on the external design of MPL 9391 low pressure sensor and then tried to utilize it in my design.My designed sensor is a Capacitive Fluid Level Indicator. The electrodes used are made of Alluminium. But if needed, carbon fibre can also be used. No steps have been taken for the di-electric fluctuation in my design. The electrodes are established in such a way that one is set into another. The outer electorde is hollow cylindrical. Holes are created on the surface of the outer electrode to improvise the basic fluid mechanics and fluid dynamics theory. To summarize the the whole design, the external body is the improvisation of the existing pressure sensing product MPL 9391 and it works using capacitive fluid level testing mechanism.
