A cap-able set of dice to simulate random nuclear decay! Each dice represents a single atom which can undergo nuclear fission or fusion. Whenever you spin the dice, it represents one year going by and the atom having a random chance of decaying. Experiment Procedure:Set your nuclear decay constant (λ) to a number from 1 to 6Open all the dice caps & spin the diceIf the number on the dice is smaller or equal to λ, close the capCount the number of dice left & document them on a tableRepeat steps 2 to 4 to simulate atoms randomly and spontaneously decaying!* Works best with more than 10 dice Here is an example result using 100 dice, λ = 2Number of times dice were rolled (t)Number of dice left uncapped (N)0100167244332420515610758494102
