Capture The Flag

I was looking to set up a game of Capture the Flag with the kids, and needed to make up some flags. Instead of just tying a piece of fabric to a pole, I made up these brackets. Print out the pair (the top one is capped so it stays at the top of the pipe), slide them on to a piece of 3/4 PVC pipe (they are made to friction fit), feed a corner of any piece of fabric (I used bandannas) through to loop on each piece, knot it and voila! easy flag...
I also have a version that is a little tighter but has a split, so it should open up a little to slide easier and accommodate minute differences in pipe diameter, or perhaps fit on painted pipe if you so desire.
