Tired of passengers bashing the front doors of our car into our fence, and unwilling to drop dollar-pounds on a strip of plastic, I decided to make my own car door protectors.
Notes:
- Printed out of 'high impact' PLA, at 100% density.
- Attached with 19.1mm- (0.75"-) wide VHB heavy duty mounting tape.
- The corrugations are in there to help fit to the curvature of your door ('high impact' PLA tends to be more bendy as well).
- This pair of things are asymmetric: the filleted long-side is designed to face forward; the filleted short-side is designed to face upwards. Test fit on either side of your car before committing to the stick down.
