I like to hang old grocery bags from my glove box as a garbage in my car. If you reach under your dashboard when the glove box is open, there might be a lip where the plastic dashboard ends (depending on the design of your specific vehicle). This clip holds onto that plastic, and provides a hook for you to clip old grocery bags on to.
