I printed this in black PETG and used white ink to color in the lettering some years ago and it worked great, though I had always wished the original design was made with a thicker shaft and so I beefed up the original design until I had something that should be much more stiffly built and confidence inspiring able to take on any situation or rough roads. = )

The countersunk (fine threaded) screws and nuts for the brackets should be M4. (The original author used standard/SAE screws) You might need to gently drill out, sand down, add a few drops of oil, (greatly helps with the motion) and size the length of screws and bolts to best fit your particular steering wheel.

The coarse screw for the knob should be a wood or a sheet metal screw of around or less than 1 inch long with a fairly aggressive thread pattern to bite into the inner layers of the steering knob. I can't remember the size/diameter I used, but it wasn't much larger than an inch long and 2.5-3.5mm in diameter.
