Carboy Stopper Clamp This ‘clamp’ keeps wet stoppers from slipping out of glass carboys during homebrewing.I never understood how you are meant to dry the surfaces after sanitizing to prevent the stopper from sliding out and the surfaces still be sanitized – aren’t they de-sanitized by whatever you dry them with? Anyhow this clamp prevents the problem… Remix of ‘Stronger Carboy Stopper Clamp’ from @nexusz_378574 on printables (which was a remix of the ‘Carboy Stopper Clamp’ from @TheWalrus) As ‘Nexusz’ said the original was well designed, as was the remix, and this adds a couple more tweaks to work for my particular requirements. I’m using a #7 Silicone ‘Dual Hole’ stopper which allows me to use both an AirLock and a Thermowell during fermentation. #7 Silicone stopper tapers from ~37mm wide at the top to ~30mm wide at the bottom and is ~25mm tall. Changed the stopper height allowance to 20mm (from 10mm). Increased the length of the central channel to allow for the ‘dual holes’. ‘Nexusz
