You are responsible for the packaging of the spools in the cardboard boxes. Finishing up on your last order, you get the message that you need to add one more box! Can you manage to fit all the boxes? The PuzzleIt looks deceptively simple but it can take a while to figure out.I took inspiration from a mathematical problem of Packing Unit Squares in Squares, where the bounding square is minimized. I've linked the article below, but beware if you don't want to be spoiled for the solution. There are three variants: 5, 11 and 17 pieces. Hoping to create a challenge for a variety of age groups. Here is a hint:The solution might be unsettling, or even deeply unsatisfying.The DesignAs it is a "simple" puzzle, I've tried to keep the design as simple as possible. Such that you don't need a multi-color printer to play this puzzle.
