Wanted a minimal but functional wallet. Hold up to 10-15 cards but maintains enough tension to securely hold a smaller number of cards.
Prints in 4 pieces: 2 "top/covers' and 2 "bases".
Requires around 20cm(200mm) of elastic that has a width of 20mm.
superglue or liquid cement for plastics is required to glue the parts together
Post printing/Assembly:
Assembly should be straightforward: take the base plates and wrap the elastic around the "grooves" in the middle. I stapled the elastics and it works fine, but I would recommend burning the elastics ends together and then sliding that onto the plates. After, dab a generous amount of glue onto the bases and then place the covers on top of them. Leave it to dry for at least 4 hours to ensure the glue gets a strong hold.
I'll have a link to a google photos folder with clear steps for assembly in a while.
Some tips:
-the first layer is VERY important here. the first layer is the outer layer of the wallet and a bad first layer
