Cargo straps with tensioners are great to use on all kinds of cargo, but what to do with them when the cargo is back out?
Sure you can make little packs of them when you roll them up and hold them with rubber bands, so they don't need much space. Place them in a plastic box or even a carton one is also good assuming they stay together and don't make a mess driving on bumpy roads or while moving them from the car to the garage or vice versa.
I got tiered of those messy moments and came up with this handy spool where you can roll the strap on and mount them on the inside of a van wall or tool board.
It is a two part piece, i "glued" them together with acetone while printed in ABS Titan X by formfutura.
Inside the van i used already mounted M6 nuts where i putted in a threaded piece of M6. The lenght is that of the width of the spool plus 30mm. 10mm is screwed in with a counter nut to put a little tension so it wouldn't shake out. The other side sticks out of the spool and f
