Carpenter Bee Trap

Living in a log cabin has its ups and downs. Carpenter bees fall into the down category. While I don't relish cutting into the population of pollinators, I also don't want my house to be eaten. To that end, I have designed a carpenter bee trap that is simple to print, easy to assemble, and actually works. The threads of the the body are made to fit a standard plastic soda bottle or you may elect to print the included bottle. I have had the greatest success(catching the most bees) printing in wood PLA and staining it with the same stain as my home, but all colors and materials have caught bees.
