Carrera Bridge Support Structures

I designed my track--shown way in the background behind my sweet little rocket sled 904--with a seven foot length of elevated track. I didn't wouldn't couldn't use the standard elevated track accoutrements so I designed these to use standard 1" schedule 40 pvc pipe as the primary elevation pedestal. For each length of pipe (around 100mm give or take a few either way, except for the approaches where you'll have to calculate rise over run, do the math) there are a base that sits on the track foundation and a top designed to fasten to the track being elevated which provide a secure interference fit for the PVC pipe. The idea is the pipe resembles a robust concrete pier holding the track up. There is even a top support designed to snap into the receptacles molded into the Carrera "overpass" track components.
