If you enjoy playing carrom board (common game in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, spread to America, Canada, England, Australia, and many other countries), and dislike digging gotis (game pieces) from stitched pockets, here is a cool 3D print!
I printed them in ABS. Took a while, but came out great!Need long screws to hold them in. I screwed all of them 40mm from the periphery of my carrom board, but please use your own judgement on your's. Make sure you account for the space where the wood beams cross to support the board. On my board, those beams are 10-12mm deeper than the framing. Therefore, my pockets were 13mm shorter than the posts of the base.
However, the warping of the ABS makes it more of a friction fit. Nothing a bit of sandpaper didn't help with.
