Case Feeder Brace

This is a very simple brace to prevent the lower mechanism of the case feeder from twisting.

When the press rises, and hits the case dispenser, the upward pressure causes a few millimeters of rotation because it is only held into the riser bar by a single screw. Those few millimeters cause the drop tube to be angled and the end of the tube misalinged by up to a centimeter, resulting in the dropping cases landing on the case adapter and bouncing all over the place. Even using a shotgun shell (or modified drop tube - which I also have printed) fully fix the problems caused by this rotation.

if Hornaday had simply used two screws to mount the lower assembly to the riser arm this could have been avoided.

This brace prevents it from twisting, keeping the alignment.
