If you have tried using your iPhone 5 (S/C) with a case you might have noticed that it will not fit in the Apple standard dock - even with an original Apple case.
This dock will let you dock your iPhone 5 (S/C) without first having to remove the case.
You can also dock/undock the phone without first disconnecting the cable.
