Caster

I designed this caster for DIY law mower, so it's optimized for rolling on grass. It was designed in FreeCAD software and mostly parametric, so different sizes can be generated quick and easy. I need some time to clean and optimize sketch, after which I will share also complete design.

Enclosed are stl files for 72 mm height from the flor and 40mm long wheel.

Fork is inserted in insert part which is screwed with three screws into the base. Its allow 360 degree of freedom. On top of insert part is hole for screw, witch is purpose to prevent falling of fork and wheel if base is lifted.

For inserting the wheel into fork, you need spread forks for around 10 mm and wheel will snip into the wheel centre hole.

Easy to assemble.

For future realise the plan is to design insert and fork from one nondetachable part for even easier installation.
