Cat feeder ball

When my cat was young I put his food in a tennis ball with a hole in it to prevent him from gulping his food and give him something to do. He intuitively knew what to do immediately. He bats it around and the food comes out slowly; one at a time-ish. Decided to make a nicer version now that he's older and more refined. Our female is slow on the uptake, but I just left it on the floor full of food and eventually she got it. Now she doesn't want to believe its empty.

The hole in this is 16mm That is a good size for fairly quick release of Hills Science diet TD (dental diet) prescription food one at a time.. My wife is a veterinarian and keeps our cats on that to prevent tooth decay and stomatitis. Seems to work. Consult your vet for proper diet and to get the TD dental. Its not magic, its just larger chunks they have to chew. It shouldn't' be prescription, but it is... so they can charge more?
