Cat Proof Drawer Latch

Cat Proof Drawer Latch: [V2 update removes the need for a machined bolt, switching to a printed bolt] I made this drawer latch because my Cats were always breaking into the treat drawer, and really any drawer that they were interested in. This latch will deter most cats from gaining entry and scratching up your woodwork in the process. The Latch is printed in three parts: A base, a lever, and a bolt to join them together. The base has a spring that catches on the lever to provide a bit of resistance from cats figuring out how to open it! Mine did, prompting me to add the spring in this design. Use a flathead screwdriver to install the bolt attaching the lever. It will take a bit of slow, steady downward pressure to screw in the bolt. If you need to flip the orientation of the lever, just use your slicer to mirror both parts on the X axis or install it upside down. Please note the print profile instructions.
