Simple small cat toy ball (diameter 25mm ~1inch) with an hollow core and a smaller little ball on the inside.
Edit: I've added a version without the captive ball and the interior completely filled
I find that most cat toy balls are too thin and tend get smashed into pieces.
In this design that won't happen as it is almost fully filled. The added heft on this small ball gives it a bit more inertia to keep rolling and my cat loves that, your downstairs neighbours maybe not like it so much...
Like most cat toy balls, it is also a problem for 3AM fun as the noise on hard flooring will certainly kick you out of the bed.
Instructions:
Standard/fast print settings - 0.2mm to 0.3mm layer height, 2 shells and 30% infill
No supports or only touching the build plate, but you might have a bad time removing it
I'd recommend printing with brim for layer adhesion, as there is not much contact area
Print with the orientation as is, for the inside ball to be at the bottom
