Cat wall hole

Cat Wall HoleNeeded a way for my cat to get into a room that we always keep the door closed on. It fits any standard 4inchresidntial wall that is made from 2x4s and 1 layer of 1/2 inch sheet rock or comparable product on both sides. I printed using Pla, standard settings within supports needed. I traced on one of the sides of drywall around the outside of the tube part to mark out the hole needed to be cut out. Cut the hole out and then slide the into the wall until it was against the backside of the drywall not the opposite side of the wall. I traced the inside the tube to mark the other area need to be cut out. I compensated for the tube thickness by cutting outside the line. Tested fit the hole by placing both sides in. when everything looked good I used Clear latex caulk on the inside lip of both part where it will get pressed against drywall. Installed both side and used painters tape to hold it tight until the caulk dried.
