I'm running some Cat6 outside for a camera, but I have fiber-cement siding (commonly known as HardiPlank) and couldn't staple the network wire. I noticed the siding planks had small gaps where they overlap, and upon further inspection, they can be slightly pulled out.
The Cat6 I'm using is 6mm OD so I designed some clips that can slip under the siding and friction hold the network right under where the planks overlap.
I made three thicknesses to accommodate the variations in the siding, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm
