Do you hate how the Settlers of Catan gameboard edges warp over time? All the pieces come loose and its impossible to play without the board shifting and falling apart. This model creates rigid supports for board stability. Print 6 pieces and glue your existing board edges to them to create a board that satisfyingly snaps together and does not become disjointed.
Printing:
This print has a lot of baseplate contact surface area and can be print with just about any range of typical settings. I would recommend a brim so that it is easy to separate from the baseplate. I printed mine with 100% infill and printed 3 at a time. It took about 4 days to print 6.
Assembly:
I glued each piece using Super Glue Gel. I would recommend some sort of strong super glue. I applied a dotted line around the perimeter inset about one half centimeter from the edge. Firmly press the Catan boarder pieces to the glued structure paying attention that the alignments of the tabs are centered and consis
