caterpillar scraper, earth mover

I made this for my dad for Christmas last year. He retired from driving these machines a few years back. I got the original drawing from online somewhere, but it was not printable. I redrew it to make it printable. You can glue the front and back together, or drill out the hinge area and put in a rod to make it hinge. I made the axles out of aluminum tubing to press fit into the wheel hubs. I printed the scraper body in signal yellow, and the window and windshields in transparent blue. Black would also look ok I think.

The group labeled scraper parts: print 2 of each: the round ones are if you drill out the hinge, glue the round parts to cover the holes and hide the pin. The other parts go into the back of the scraper to 'thicken up' the thin areas. Hope that makes sense.

It needs a lot of support, and it's a pain removing the support, but the finished product looks amazing. I forgot to take a pic before I gave it too him, so I will try to have my dad take and send me a photo of
