I once saw my wife in tears after our cat went missing — again. He’s an indoor cat, not used to the outside world, and every time he sneaks out through a gap in the gate, it turns into hours of stress and worry. That’s what motivated me to take action. I designed a custom 3D-printed gate barrier clip, made with brown PLA, specifically to prevent small pets — especially curious cats — from slipping through the gaps in gates or fences. The clip works as a modular blocker or interlocking shield that attaches easily to vertical or horizontal bars. It’s lightweight, tool-free to install, and fully adjustable in length to fit different structures. Ideal for renters and pet owners looking for a non-permanent, low-cost, and effective solution to keep their furry companions safe at home.
