Hello,
Yet another singing prop for 12mm RGB pixels. This time a cauldron complete with flames and bubbles! It is built such that there is a 2mm wide border
along the edges of the pieces to a hight of 10mm and the thickness of each piece 6mm. The pieces are quite strong at 6mm.
Each part is labeled with an identifier on the front face that is recessed 2mm into the part.
The cauldron is about 51" tall and 40" wide. The height can be smaller if you make you bubbles closer together.
All the parts will fit on an Ender 5 pro bed.
The cauldron including all the bubbles holds 342 pixels.
There is a total of 43 parts that need to be printed to complete the prop.
Printer:
I have been printing in PLA+. I'll have to see if it holds up outdoors!
I use CURA (v4.80) as my slicer. I set the "Horizontal Expansion" setting to -0.19mm (or -0.21mm). This allows for a snug fit for the joints.
I have included two test pieces so you can dial in your printer. These are not attached to the prop.
